The Organizers of the COTECH Series (Hereafter referred to as “We”, “Us” and “Our”) take individuals’ privacy seriously. This Statement explains our policies and practices in more details and applies to information collection and use including but not limited to while you are visiting our official website and all related sub-pages.

- Information (Such as your name, company name, company address, mobile number, email address, nature of business, etc. of your company) when you register with us, use our services, attend our activities or communicate with us;
- In connection with an account sign-in facility, your login user name and password details;
- The content of any communications you send to us, for example, to report a problem or to submit queries, concerns or comments regarding to the event or its event content; or information you submitted via survey;
The provision of personal data by you is necessary in order for us to provide you with the requested services and for us to perform our contractual obligations (if any) to you. If you do not supply such data, we may be unable to provide the requested services.
We only retain personal data for so long as it is necessary for the fulfilment of the purpose (including any directly related purpose) for which data is or is to be used.
In addition, when you browse the site, we will collect the basic technical information that your browser sends to the website, such as browser type and language, access time, address of the site from which you came to the website, your Internet Protocol (IP) address, or click stream data within our site (i.e. the actions taken in connection with our website) etc. We collect such technical information during your visit to the website through our automatic data collection tools, which may include cookies and other commonly used technologies. Use of Information
a. Site
We will use your personal information to maintain databases that allow us to assess your qualities to encourage further engagement on our site.
We will use your personal information provided during the registration process to host and manage the site and for analysing your engagements and traffic to improve the visiting experience for attendees and provide you with a personalized experience.
When you enter the Exhibitor's Page, your personal information may be shared with the exhibitor to allow them to engage with you, subject to the attendee privacy notice you may have been provided during the registration and login process.
b. Marketing
We may use your personal information to send you newsletters, offers or other marketing emails to keep you up to date with our news, events and products that may be of interest. Depending on the nature of your interaction with us and applicable data protection laws, you may have actively given us your consent (i.e. opted in) or we may be entitled to rely on your implied consent or legitimate interests to market to you. The opportunity to opt out of future marketing will always be provided and you have the right to amend your marketing preferences at any time (See Your Privacy Rights section).
We may share your details with third-party partners. When this happens, a clear notice will be provided that gives you the opportunity to opt-out or opt into such sharing as required by applicable data protection laws. The third-party partner’s use of your details will be in accordance with the notice provided and its privacy policy and is not covered by this Privacy Policy.
c. Mobile Applications and Website Analytics
We may combine visitor registration information or other information collected through tracking technologies, whether you are logged in or not, with personally identifiable information to understand and analyze your online experiences and determine which events, products and services are likely to be of interest to you.
Where you consent to the use of your location data, certain mobile applications may use location data to assist you in navigating around events and bring exhibitors’ products to your attention whilst you are browsing our website.
Our marketing-related emails contain a single, campaign-unique “Web Beacon Pixel” to identify whether emails are opened and, combined with other technologies, to verify any clicks through to links within the email. We may use this information for purposes including determining which emails are of more interest to you and to query whether users who do not open our emails wish to continue receiving them. The pixel will be deleted when you delete the email.
Where you subscribe to an online service, the accompanying emails similarly include a pixel. We track interaction with these emails and our online services to validate attendance for accreditation purposes, and to help determine which information is of interest to you.
Disclosure
We will keep the personal data we hold confidential but may provide your personal data to:
- Personnel, agents, advisers, auditors, contractors and service providers in connection with our operations or services;
- Our offices in China, affiliates, business partners and other trade promotion organizations;

We use cookies to find out more about the use of our site and user preferences to improve our services. We may provide summarized traffic data to exhibitors/sponsors. We note traffic, pages visited and time spent. We may link the information to you, so that you may receive information more suited to your interests.
